Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. When she was a kid, she listened to lots of traditional music as well as older Boleros. She also listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. After singing with her mom, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She furthered her training in music through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. She sang throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. In 2000 she moved into in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she settled in her new home in Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo with the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her love and love for music. Ana was a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of the Performance Loft. Ana hopes that with her performance of Latin American traditional songs, that she can bring about a desire, specifically among the younger generation, for keeping this music vibrant.
