Kim Cattrall is an English-Canadian actress who has an estimated net worth of $40 million. She is most famous for her character of Samantha Jones on HBO's "Sex and the City" but has also enjoyed many years of a successful film and TV career, particularly in the 1980s. Her most notable film roles include "Police Academy" in 1986, "Police Academy," Big Trouble in Little China, "Sex and the City", "Mannequin" in 1987, and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" in 1991. Kim Victoria Cattrall was born in Liverpool's Mossley Hill on August 21 in 1956. She is the daughter of Gladys Shane, a secretary as well as Dennis Cattrall, a construction engineer. The family moved to Canada at just three months old. They was settled in British Columbia. Then she returned to Liverpool when she was 11 as her grandmother was ill. After taking acting classes at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in London, she relocated back to Canada in just one year. Cattrall was just 16 when she graduated from Georges P. Vanier Secondary school in the year 1972. She then moved to New York City to begin her acting career.
